TOUGHBUILT’s NEW Five-Blade Utility Knife with On-Tool Blade Storage and Snap-Off Blade
TOUGHBUILT recently launched its first-of-its-kind five-blade utility knife. The knife can be used in a multitude of settings, such as construction, decoration, painting, DIY and industrial use. It can cut paper, cardboard, leather, drywall, plastic sheeting, and other materials. This patented multitool can also switch between two different modes: 1) In Scraper Mode, it can remove paint, putty or adhesive on the surface. It can also remove labels from windows, mirrors, tiles and more. 2) Utility Knife Mode features a rugged handle made from metal.
The unique Rapid Load Change System allows users to easily change blades without the need for additional tools. The knife includes five blades and is specifically designed to handle a range of materials. Made from 58 percent aluminum and zinc alloy, 15 percent ABS, PP and TPE, 27 percent steel, the blade is 2.2 in. long with a 6-in. handle. The handles and blade are made from triple-injected plastic and steel, respectively.
More features of this all-new utility knife include:
- Patented switch mechanism quickly flips between utility knife and scraper with the flick of a thumb
- Rubber comfort grips
- Paint can opener
- Carry loop
- Smooth blade
The utility knife is available nationwide. The new five-blade utility knife retails for $17.98 and is available at Lowe’s online, and in-stores.
