Makita Adds More Solutions to 12V MAX CXT Lineup

Makita, a pioneer in cordless technology, has expanded the next generation of 12 volt with a new 12V max CXT Jig Saw, 3-3/8″ Tile/Glass Saw, and L.E.D. Flashlight. Makita 12V max CXT features slide-style batteries and are engineered to be more compact with more comfort and more capacity.

Expanding Line-Up

The new Jig Saw, 3-3/8″ Tile/Glass Saw, and L.E.D. Flashlight are additions to the recently-released 12V max CXT™ launch line-up which includes two driver-drills, a hammer driver-drill, impact driver, recipro saw, and 3-3/8″ circular saw. There is also a brushless driver-drill and brushless hammer driver-drill. All tools are powered by new 12V max CXT™ Lithium-Ion slide-style batteries with on-board L.E.D. charge level indicators.

2.0Ah and 4.0Ah Batteries

The new 12V max CXT tools are available in kits with 2.0 amp hour (Ah) batteries and charger. 12V max CXT™ tools are also available as “tool only” (batteries and charger sold separately), so it’s easy for users to expand their line-up. For extended run time, a new 4.0Ah battery with on-board L.E.D. charge level indicator is also available (BL1041B, sold separately).

12V max CXT Jig Saw (VJ04R1/Z)
The new 12V max CXT™ Lithium-Ion Jig Saw delivers 0-2,900 strokes per minute with 3 orbital settings plus straight cutting for increased versatility. The die-cast aluminum base adjusts from 0° to 45° right to left. At only 9-1/8″ long and 3.8 lbs. (with 2.0Ah battery) it is a compact and convenient cutting option for a range of materials. The kit includes the Jig Saw, jig saw blade, two 12V max CXT™ 2.0Ah batteries, charger, and tool case.
12V max CXT™ 3-3/8″ Tile/Glass Saw (CC02R1/Z)
The new 12V max CXT™ Lithium-Ion 3-3/8″ Tile/Glass Saw delivers smooth and powerful cutting, with a compact design that’s engineered for ease-of-use and maneuverability. The CC02R1 is compact and weighs only 4.2 lbs. (with 2.0Ah battery). With 1,600 RPM, 1 in. cutting capacity, and a large 16.9 oz. water supply tank for wet cutting applications, it is a compact and efficient cutting solution for tile and glass. The kit includes the Saw, 3-3/8″ diamond blade (tile/glass), two 12V max CXT 2.0Ah batteries, charger, and tool case
12V max CXT™ L.E.D. Flashlight (ML103)
The new 12V max CXT Lithium-Ion Cordless L.E.D. Flashlight is a portable and ultra-compact light source. The efficient L.E.D. light delivers long run time, with up to 28 hours per charge using the 4.0Ah battery (sold separately). The ML103 is 3-7/16″ long and weighs only 0.6 lbs. (with 2.0Ah battery, sold separately). The compact size makes it ideal for convenient illumination in tight spaces. (tool only, battery and charger sold separately)
