Lincoln Electric’s Air Vantage 650 (K2961-1) engine driven welder/generator is now available for sale in the United States. Equipped with a Tier 4i-compliant Cummins engine, the Air Vantage 650 is a rugged machine designed for welding and gouging needs commonly associated with heavy industrial applications like mining and repair. The Air Vantage 650 enables users to gouge using up to ½-in. carbons with the built-in air compressor and weld using up to 0.120-in. Innershield cored wires and 3/32-in. Lincore hardfacing cored wires. In addition to the superior welding output (600-700 amperage range), the Air Vantage 650 offers plenty of auxiliary power — 20 kW of continuous three-phase, 240V AC power and 12 kW of single-phase AC power.
