DEWALT Releases 20V MAX XR Compact Stud and Joist Drill with POWER DETECT

DEWALT, a leader in total jobsite solutions and innovation, just announced the 20V MAX* XR Brushless 7/16 in. Quick Change Stud and Joist Drill with POWER DETECT (DCD443B). Drilling up to 400 7/8-in. holes per charge, the tool is the latest to join the lineup of 20V MAX* products with POWER DETECT technology that maximizes performance when used with high-capacity XR batteries. When paired with the DCB208 DEWALT 20V MAX* XR battery, the drill outputs more power and more holes per charge, furthering DEWALT’s commitment to providing end-users the tools they need for the jobsite of the future.

Ideal for electricians, plumbers and remodelers, the drill provides ease of use with a 7/16-in. Hex Quick-Change Chuck for fast and easy bit changes. To aid in user control, the E-Clutch System shuts the tool down if necessary, in a bind-up situation. The drill is also designed with a brushless motor that produces up to 1,475 UWO, an LED light that provides illumination in dark or confined spaces, and is TOOL CONNECT Chip Ready (chip sold separately), allowing for location monitoring on the jobsite.

The DCD443B is available now as a bare tool for $279 MSRP. To learn more about the DEWALT products, please visit: www.dewalt.com.
