Cementex Announces Color Change in Hundred Series Arc Rated Face Shields

Face Shield 2Cementex, the safety tool specialists, recently announced that the color of the company’s Arc Flash Resistant PPE Task Wear Face Shield has changed from green to gray. Providing exceptional Visible Light Transfer (VLT), the Cementex Hundred Series are constructed with a True Color Gray (TCG) Arc Rated Face Shield, improving technician vision over prior green models.

The Cementex Hundred Series Arc Rated Face Shields feature a molded shape to minimize vision distortion. The long length, chin cup, and sides provide superior coverage and protection, while the brow shield works to deflect the impact of an arc blast in the event of an arc flash incident.

The new gray Arc Rated Face Shields feature translucent sides and chin area, providing improved peripheral vision for technicians working on energized equipment. The face shields meet the requirements of NFPA 70E and ASTM F2178.
