New EZ Oil Drain Valve Available for Cummins, John Deere Engines
Equipment owners with Cummins QSK or John Deere engines with a 1-1/16 in.-by-12 UNF oil drain plug can now retrofit the equipment with an EZ Oil Drain Valve.
The recently released valve, offered by Global Sales Group, broadens the company’s robust line of EZ Oil Drain Plugs.
The valve replaces the conventional oil drain plugs to simplify oil changes or oil sampling. Once installed, the old oil can be drained by simply lifting and turning the lever. The lever locks closed to prevent accidental openings. In some instances, the company recommends the addition of a hose clip for added locking security.
A straight or 90-degree L-shaped hose end cab be connected for conveniently draining the oil away from the engine. Follow this link for more information on all sizes and applications.
The EZ Oil Drain Valve incorporates the “ball valve” design of valves used in pressurized gas applications and will not leak. Unlike spring-loaded gate valves, the heavy-duty ball valve construction will withstand any engine vibration. When installed, the EZ Oil Drain Valve only extends about 1.5-in. from the oil pan more than a stock oil drain plug in its closed position. The valve’s effective locking system requires a double-action mechanism to open it, preventing any accidental openings.
