Kaeser Compressors Inc. recently unveiled its new MOBILAIR M76 portable compressor — a versatile and rugged unit engineered for endurance. The new compressor delivers flows up to 270 cfm and boasts Kaeser’s pV technology. This provides users with two variable pressure ranges (100-150 psig and 145-200 psig) to meet their needs.

“With Kaeser’s pV technology, included in the Sigma Control Smart compressor controller, you can easily adjust air pressure in 1 psi increments making this unit extremely versatile for many applications,” said Chance Chartters, MOBILAIR sales manager.

The M76 is powered by a heavy-duty, 4-cylinder Kubota diesel engine that meets Tier 4 Final EPA emissions standards. Kaeser said this rugged, fuel-efficient engine is integrated with an extra-large 34-gal fuel tank to provide up to 9 hours of continuous operation on a single fuel tank.

Other features of the M76 include:

  • an energy-efficient Sigma Profile airend
  • a high-capacity cold-start battery
  • an anti-frost valve to maintain optimum operating temperature
  • large, wide-opening enclosure doors for ready access to all components for easier maintenance
  • a lifting eye and a height-adjustable hitch with a rigid tow bar to make transport easy

Kaeser added that the M76 — which is now available to order — is ideal for a variety of applications, including underground utilities, sandblasting and general construction.
