Watch: Discussing ASV’s New MAX-Series Track Loaders in Our Latest CE Conversations
ASV has been pushing the limits of the compact track loader industry for three decades. The brand was the first company to launch a compact track loader into the North American marketplace. Today, track loaders are one of the top selling categories of compact equipment, outpacing skid steer sales.
ASV has continued to push the market in new directions. Over the last couple of years, ASV has focused on releasing some of the smallest compact track loaders on the market. At The ARA Show and CONEXPO-CON/AGG earlier this year, the company was pushing its newest RT-50 to customers, another lightweight, sit-in compact track loader. The new RT-50 features an industry-leading performance-to-weight ratio for its size class and joins the RT-25 and RT-40 — two of the industry’s smallest sit-in compact track loaders — as a powerful, lightweight machine.
Now, the company has just launched its MAX-Series compact track loaders — the RT-65, VT-70 High Output, RT-75 and RT-75 Heavy-Duty — focused on reinventing the cab and operating experience of a track loader.
In our latest CE Conversations above, Compact Equipment publisher Keith Gribbins has a digital sit-down with Buck Storlie, product line manager at ASV, discussing these four new units. Watch the video and you will immediately notice those crazy glass cabs (52 percent more glass area than previous ASV models and more glass than we’ve ever seen on a skid steer/track loader cab).
The inside looks just as high concept. A giant LCD monitor and Bluetooth radio are beautifully designed right in front of you. A fully-suspended seat features adjustable recline, slide, weight and four-way arm rest settings. There’s a sweet speaker system with perfect placement, and is that an escape hatch on the roof? Yes, it is.
