Professional Grounds Management Society (PGMS) Offers Tours and Education in Tacoma, Wash., This Summer
The Professional Grounds Management Society (PGMS) recently announced that PGMS will host the School of Grounds Management Summer Conference in Tacoma, Wash., this July 22-23, 2019. Tacoma, which is located on the Puget Sound south of Seattle with views of the Mount Rainier Volcano will welcome green industry professionals from across the country this summer.
This annual event will include exclusive tours and top-notch education sessions featuring industry leading professionals. Behind-the-scenes tours will include the University of Puget Sound, Point Defiance Park, Chambers Bay Golf Course, Cheney Stadium, Seymour Conservatory and Wright Park.
Education seminars will focus on several important topics including leadership, budgeting and human resources; irrigation system auditing; how to combine marketing, networking and production management into success; and turfgrass management.
This event is also a great place for networking with fellow green industry professionals from around the country. It is a great place to meet and learn from other grounds professionals who face the same challenges and issues.
