Need More Gift Ideas? Check Out This Christmas Catalog from the Historical Construction Equipment Association
If you didn’t know it, the Historical Construction Equipment Association carries a wide variety of books, DVDs, apparel, kid’s stuff, collectibles and more celebrating the rich history of construction equipment. Many of these items are unique to the HCEA store, and a lot of them make wonderful gifts for people who are interested in the machinery that built so much of what we enjoy today. Just check out the HCEA Christmas Catalog.
Among the fun items is the HCEA 2024 wall calendar, with each month featuring a beautiful 8×10 black and white photograph of equipment from the early- and mid-20th Century at work. It’s still only $10, plus postage and handling. Plus, there’s lots of apparel (fleeces to ballcaps) and tons of books and DVDs (even Usborne Big Books for kids focused on construction equipment). We can also recommend a gift membership to the association. It’s only $35 for one year in the USA and Canada, $55 for those living elsewhere. Members receive HCEA’s quarterly magazine Equipment Echoes, which we get here at the CE offices and love.
Being Old Timey, You Must Mail in Orders
There is one difficulty. The HCEA online store is unavailable, but feel free to order by mail using the form at the end of the catalog or by calling 419-352-5616 between 9:00 am and 4:30 p.m. Eastern weekdays. All major credit cards accepted. Just don’t email credit card information or mail in cash.
All profits from these sales go towards funding HCEA’s mission to preserve for the history of the construction, surface mining and dredging equipment industries.
