Kubota Tractor Corp. has opened the application pool for the 2026 edition of its Hometown Proud grant program, where its network of construction equipment dealers can receive a grant valued at $50,000.

Following the closing of the application period, Kubota will choose ten grant recipients, one from each of the company’s operating districts. The winners will receive $25,000 in cash and a $25,000 Kubota equipment voucher.

“In 2026, we are once again building on the millions in funding and equipment grants we’ve awarded to a range of organizations over the past five years,” says Kubota Tractor president Alex Woods. “Kubota’s grant program has helped fund many meaningful projects, all led by passionate local dealers working together with nonprofit leaders to make a difference in hometowns across the country. We look forward to meeting our next group of grant winners to continue this important tradition of giving back to our communities.”

Any nonprofit working on a project “where Kubota funding and equipment can positively impact a community” is also encouraged to apply, the company says.

Making the most of the grant

Kubota’s nationwide footprint currently includes about 1,100 equipment dealers, the company says, all of whom take “immense pride” in supporting the local community. The annual grand program provides that dealership network with opportunities to engage in their communities and make an impact.

The company’s grant program is also open to nonprofits with a community project located within a 50-mile radius of a Kubota dealer, including in Alaska and Hawaii. Additionally, the program has expanded this year to include Puerto Rican nonprofits and dealers.

“Past grant winner examples include renovating fairgrounds, rodeo arenas and barns; expanding Ag education centers and farm incubator programs; building new parks, trails, green spaces, and community gardens; and revamping youth sports fields and other public recreation spaces,” Kubota Tractor representatives say. “Whatever the community project and vision, Kubota’s mission is to help build it, together.”

Consumers will also have their own opportunity to participate in the company’s Hometown Proud Win & Give Sweepstakes, which launches on May 8 after submissions close. Winners will receive either a Kubota zero-turn mower or a BX tractor, no purchase required.
