ICYMI: Collecting Awards, Trencher Upkeep, Telehandler Talk and More

It’s officially the last full week of April and we spent it sharing a mix of personal news, feature stories and announcements from around the industry. Catch up with us below.

1. Accolades. Alright, I’m starting off this week’s ICYMI with some exciting news. Benjamin Media (the parent company of Compact Equipment) recently snagged two awards — one for Publisher Keith Gribbins for his work in CE and another for Rob Krzys, president and publisher of Benjamin Media, who was named the Associate Member of the Year from NUCA. Congrats!

2. Trencher Upkeep. Need some maintenance advice for your trencher attachment? No worries! Scott McKinley from Ditch Witch has you covered.

3. Purpose-Built UTVs. Fun Fact: I love UTVs and any chance I get to share news about them. So I was giddy when I saw the new packages released by Polaris Government and Defense. The company’s Terrain and Wildlife Management packages are purposely built to help maintain, patrol, protect and preserve parks, wildlands, beaches and shorelines. My birthday’s in June if anyone wants to get me a gift.

4. Telehandler Rental. If an upcoming project requires renting a compact telehandler, be sure to check out this great article from Christina Andrews at United Rentals.

5. Telehandler Training. Ok, so you know how to rent a telehandler, but what about operating one? Luckily, the Telehandler Simulator Training Pack from CM Labs Simulations is officially available. Learn more about this training solution at the link below.
