Some compact tool carriers are made to walk behind and some you stand on. These machines are made by companies such as Toro, Ditch Witch, Vermeer and Bobcat.

Utility Vehicles
Contractors use utility vehicles (or UTVs for short) for getting crews and tools to and from the jobsite. UTVs have cargo beds that help carry and dump materials like dirt. They can even take attachments like brooms and snow blades. Companies such as John Deere, Polaris and Kubota all make UTVs. They can have diesel or gas engines to make them go!

Wheel loaders are great for carrying and lifting materials around a jobsite. They can reach high enough to load a truck. They can haul as little as 1 cubic yard to as much as 20 cubic yards!
