Deere & Company Is Among World’s Top 50 Most Admired Companies
Deere & Company is one of the world’s Top 50 Most Admired Companies according to research by Fortune Magazine, which states that its annual ranking is considered the definitive report card on corporate reputations.
The Most Admired research reviews a company’s performance on nine criteria, including innovation, people management, use of corporate assets, social responsibility, quality of management, financial soundness, long-term investment value, quality of products and services, and global competitiveness.
“Our focus each day is to serve customers around the world with great products and services,” said Samuel R. Allen, chairman and chief executive officer at Deere. “Rankings such as the Fortune Most Admired list indicate we are conducting our business in line with the company’s four core values of integrity, quality, commitment, and innovation.”
The top 5 companies on the 2016 World’s Most Admired list were Apple, Alphabet, Amazon, Berkshire Hathaway and Walt Disney. Deere & Company was ranked 46th. Initially, 1,500 companies are reviewed in the Most Admired research.
