Celebrate Your Best Hardscape Jobs: The 2023 HNA Awards Deadline Is Approaching

The HNA Awards submission process is underway. The Hardscape trade organization is accepting entries that recognize outstanding hardscape projects. With nine different categories to select from, applicants have the opportunity to showcase an array of hardscaping designs including walkways, patios, pool decks, outdoor living kitchens and living spaces, commercial plazas, streets, and more.

Award winners will be recognized at the HNA Awards Ceremony during the Hardscape North American trade show, October 18-20 in Louisville, KY. The ceremony will take place on October 19 at the Kentucky Exposition Center from 1:15 PM – 2:30 PM. Winners and honorable mention recipients will be featured on the HNA website and in several industry publications. Eligible projects comprise residential and commercial projects in the following categories:

  • Clay Brick
  • Clay Brick – Permeable
  • Concrete Paver
  • Concrete Paver – Permeable
  • Segmental Retaining Walls
  • Combination of Hardscape Products
  • Porcelain Paver
  • Natural Stone
  • Outdoor Living Features
  • Vintage Installation

“The HNA Awards program is an event I look forward to each year. It’s a unique opportunity to see a collection of some of the finest projects produced in this industry,” said Robert Thomas, president and CEO of the Concrete Masonry & Hardscapes Association. “The level of exceptional entries that come through this program is like no other – I’m constantly amazed by each submission.”

Candidates are permitted to enter one or more projects into the category that aligns best with each entry. All applications, except the Vintage Installation category, must have been completed between November 1, 2019, through June 30, 2023. Vintage installations must have been installed before 2013. The entry deadline is September 1, 2023.

The HNA Awards are produced by the Concrete Masonry & Hardscapes Association (CMHA) and endorsed by the Brick Industry Association (BIA) and the Natural Stone Institute (NSI). Sponsors for the HNA Awards include iQ Power Tools, Keystone Hardscapes, and Regions Enerbank.
