If you’ve been eyeing a piece of electric equipment and you operate in California, now’s the time to act. The Clean Off-Road Equipment Voucher Incentive Project (CORE) is currently accepting applications for heavy-duty equipment funding.

Established in 2020 by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) — in partnership with CALSTART — CORE is a point-of-sale incentive that aims to encourage users to purchase or lease commercialized zero-emissions off-road equipment. These vouchers, which help offset the price of electric machines, apply to agricultural, airport, construction, maritime and logistical equipment.

As mentioned above, applications are currently being accepted for off-road heavy-duty equipment with $36.1 million currently allocated by CARB. Interested? Click here for details on how to participate.

Also, it’s important to act quickly as vouchers are approved on a first-come, first-served basis. Plus, funding goes fast. (Don’t say we didn’t warn you.) If you’re ready to apply, it’s encouraged to connect with a dealer today to submit your application. Good luck!
