TurfEx Releases New Electric-Powered Sprayer Attachment for Zero-Turn Mowers

Driven by a 12-volt electric motor, the TurfEx US250 sprayer draws its power from the mower’s battery. As spring continues to push forward, landscapers require versatile tools to keep lawns looking plush. TurfEx fills that need with its new US250 sprayer, which is designed to help an operator tackle a variety of tasks all from his zero-turn mower. The sprayer features a universal mount that allows it to attach to the front of most available zero-turn mowers. This unique mounting system stays within the mower’s footprint, unlike competitive tow-behind units. Furthermore, the US250 is completely electric powered, meaning there are no engines or hydraulics to maintain.

Driven by a 12-volt electric motor, the sprayer draws its power from the mower’s battery. The pump is rated at 2 gpm at 60 psi, and the corrosion-resistant polyethylene tank holds up to 25 gal. To apply liquid, the US250 features an adjustable spray wand, which is attached to 25 ft of hose. This makes the unit ideal for many turf care applications, including weed spraying, tree and flower watering and pest control.

For extended versatility, the US250 is available with an optional 48-in., front-mounted boom for spraying directly to the ground. A boomless spray head is also available, which uses a single nozzle to spray liquid up to a 15-ft wide pattern. Like all TurfEx products, the new sprayer comes standard with a two-year limited warranty.

Besides the sprayer, TurfEx also offers spreader, sweeper, dethatcher and leaf pusher attachments for zero-turn mowers. Each one utilizes an innovative mount system for quick attachment, allowing the operator to efficiently switch from one task to another.
