Take a Look at Blue Diamond Attachments’ New Heavy-Duty Drum Mulcher
Blue Diamond Attachments just announced its Heavy-Duty Drum Mulcher made for a wide range of compatible skid steers and track loaders. The company said this powerful land clearing attachment is designed to maximize performance across both low and high-flow machines, with hydraulic range flow from 22-46 gpm. Operators can use the 60-in. drum mulcher for land clearing and maintenance applications, including mulching small trees, large branches and grinding stumps to a high-quality finish.
Blue Diamond Attachments said the Heavy Duty Drum Mulcher comes with eight different configuration options to fit any skid steer and track loader application, including:
- 60-in. drum with choice of carbide or reversible chipping teeth
- Standard hydraulic gate for improved material flow control
- Multiple hydraulic connection options with 3-line or 5-line configurations
- Compatibility with either 1/2-in. or 3/4-in. couplers
- High-strength steel construction for durability in demanding conditions

The company said new mulcher features a rotor with replaceable shafts and fixed teeth in helical position with “P-CUT” bite limiters. This provides efficient cutting while controlling material size. Other features include Polychain carbon fiber drive belts and a side extension device between motor and pulleys with ESB system.
According to Blue Diamond Attachments’ press release, technical specifications include a hydraulic piston motor with variable displacement, with built-in anti-cavitation valve, requiring 22-46 gpm hydraulic flow. The Blue Diamond Heavy-Duty Drum Mulcher weighs in at 2,105 lbs and is backed by a 1-year warranty. It also includes an adjustable push bar and depth skid shoes with two positions for precise operation.
