Ignite Attachments Debuts New Soil Conditioner for Utility Tractors

We stopped by Ignite Attachments’ booth in Louisville last week to check out the company’s newest implement for compact tractors. Ignite Attachments expanded its growing lineup this fall with the introduction of a PTO-powered soil conditioner for compact tractors. We were down at Equip Expo 2025 in Louisville, Kentucky, where the new attachment made its public debut at booth 9049. Designed for grading, driveway repair, seedbed prep and general landscape cleanup, this new tool gives compact tractor owners a faster, cleaner way to finish the job. The soil conditioner fits compact tractors from 18 to 60 hp and comes in 48-, 60- and 72-in. widths. From the press release:
“Whether you’re fixing up a gravel lane or prepping a new lawn, this implement is built to handle it,” Gronwold said. “We engineered it to minimize vibration and prevent hopping, so you get a consistent finish even in tough soil. And compared to other options on the market, it delivers that premium-grade performance with the kind of durability you’d expect at a much more accessible price point.”
Built for Performance and Durability

Ignite engineered the soil conditioner with a spiral-pattern drum that keeps consistent ground contact and produces a smooth finish even on hard-packed or uneven surfaces. A slip clutch system replaces traditional shear pins to protect both tractor and implement from damage.
Other key features include:
- Quick hitch compatibility and 540 PTO driveline for easy hookup
- Flip-up wing kits to expand coverage or let rocks and debris pass
- Adjustable rubber deflector with single-pin tilt-away action for tool-free material control
- Manual or hydraulic angle adjustment to create windrows or shift material
- Sealed chain box with external tension adjustment for longer life
How Pros Use Soil Conditioners
A soil conditioner is one of the most versatile tools for a skid steer, compact track loader or compact tractor. Contractors and property owners use it to:
- Repair gravel drives and parking areas by cutting down high spots and filling ruts
- Prepare seedbeds by breaking up hard ground and smoothing topsoil before planting
- Clean up jobsites by leveling, windrowing debris and leaving a consistent surface finish
Operators can run the attachment forward for smoothing or in reverse for aggressive soil conditioning. The adjustable wings and deflector give precise control over material flow, making it easy to tackle everything from lawn installs to final grading. From the press release:
“We set out to build a product that delivers professional-grade performance without overcomplicating the design or blowing the budget,” said Darin Gronwold, product manager for Ignite Attachments. “Everything about this implement, from the spiral drum to the tool-less adjustments, is about making tough jobs simpler and more productive.”
