Hilltip Adds HTrack Tracking Technology to Full Spreader Line
Smart Snow and Ice Control Gets Smarter
Hilltip has expanded its HTrack tracking technology to cover its entire line of spreaders — including models built for compact equipment like UTVs, tractors and skid steers. This update gives operators more insight and control over winter maintenance operations directly from their cab, tablet or smartphone. HTrack is Hilltip’s proprietary tracking and control system. It connects through the in-cab StrikeSmart controller and works with Hilltip’s IceStriker and SprayStriker products. The system features two-way GPRS communication, allowing users to remotely manage entire fleets in real time.
Users can:
- View live activity and spreading history
- Track speed, GPS location and material usage
- Create geofenced work zones with preset application rates
- Generate detailed service and material reports by customer or jobsite
This data-rich platform helps optimize routes, reduce environmental impact and document work performed — all while freeing drivers to focus on getting the job done. HTrack is compatible with all models of IceStriker salt and sand spreaders and SprayStriker sprayers. This includes options for: tailgates, pickups and UTVs; tractors, light trucks and heavy-duty trucks; and towable units and self-loading spreaders. Whether it’s a 120-lb poly unit or a 7,000-lb stainless steel monster, HTrack helps contractors and municipalities manage operations more efficiently.
