EZG Introduces the Mini Barbwire Hog WB-BWH and Mini Cement Hog FCH25

EZG Manufacturing recently released two new products: the Mini Barbwire Hog WB-BWH and the Mini Cement Hog FCH25.
The Mini Barbwire Hog WB-BWH expands the company’s lineup of fence installation equipment with a compact, high-performance solution. EZG’s Mini Cement Hog FCH25 is the company’s newest addition to its Cement Hog line of mobile dispensers. It’s designed for compact, maneuverable operations. Let’s take a closer look at the two new pieces of equipment.
Mini Barbwire Hog WB-BWH
The Mini Barbwire Hog WB-BWH is a walk-behind model that delivers the same reliability and capacity as the company’s standard Barbwire Hog in a more maneuverable, space-efficient design. EZG said the machine is specifically engineered for the installation of strand barbed wire atop chain link fences.
“The Mini Barbwire Hog WB-BWH meets a critical need in the market for versatile, space-efficient equipment,” said Matt Schott, EZG sales representative. “It’s ideal for contractors who demand both performance and maneuverability without the bulk of a full-size unit. This model opens up new possibilities for smaller jobsites while still providing the same heavy-duty performance our customers expect from EZG.”
EZG pointed out these features of the Mini Barbwire Hog WB-BWH in the press release:
- Ideal for 8-ft or standard-height fence installations, providing flexibility for a variety of job sizes.
- Can dispense up to three rolls of barbed wire simultaneously, just like the full-size model.
- Features a pivoting arm that allows dispensing from either side of the fence.
- Easy to transport and operate, thanks to its compact dimensions.
- Same load capacity as the standard Barbwire Hog, handling up to three 16-in. rolls of barbed wire, totaling 1,320 ft.
The company designed the Mini Barbwire Hog WB-BWH in response to contractors who need smaller, more compact machinery. Cole Patterson, owner of High Pointe Companies LLC, is one of those contractors who benefits from a walk-behind model built for smaller jobs.
“We have full-size skids and the full-size Barbwire Hog, but we don’t always need the big skids on jobs,” said Patterson. “Our mini skids are used every day, and being able to unroll barbed wire without taking a large skid is huge for us. Even on shorter jobs, like 100 ft of fence, the Mini Barbwire Hog outperforms doing it by hand, saving us a lot of time.”
Mini Cement Hog FCH25
EZG’s Mini Cement Hog FCH25 is the ideal solution for contractors working in tight spaces that require heavy-duty material handling. This 1/4-cu-yd model builds on the success of EZG’s FCH50 and FCH100. It’s the perfect companion for walk-behind equipment.
“The Mini Cement Hog FCH25 is a game-changer for contractors who need a compact yet reliable solution for material handling,” said Schott. “It’s perfect for mini skid-steer users and offers all the functionality contractors need while fitting into smaller spaces. We’re thrilled to offer a product that meets the growing demand for smaller, more efficient equipment.”
EZG’s Mini Cement Hog FCH25 is capable of working with wet or dry material. It’s also easy to operate and transport. According to the press release, this model is specifically engineered to work with mini skid-steers like the Bobcat MT100 — making it a great choice for contractors needing a compact yet powerful tool.
The company highlighted these features of the FCH25:
- 1/4-cu-yd capacity for optimal performance in tight spaces.
- Quick, efficient material delivery for fast, on-the-job operation.
- Hooks to auxiliary hydraulics for optimal material flow (up to 1-in. aggregate).
- Designed for fence contractors who need efficient material handling with minimal space.
- A compact design (61.25 in. length, 29 in. width, 26.5 in. height) that can access hard-to-reach areas.
- Empty weight of 390 lbs allows for easy maneuverability and transport.
- Auger diameter of 4.875 in. and tube diameter of 7 in. provides excellent material handling capacity.
Shawn Cox, CEO of Shawn’s Fencing in Wichita, Kansas, shared his thoughts on the new Mini Cement Hog. Spoiler: They’re all positive.
“I used a 1/2-yd version of the Fencer’s Cement Hog for a few years and have recently purchased a Bobcat MT100,” he said. “I was looking for a version of the Cement Hog that could connect to the MT100, so I contacted EZG Manufacturing, and Matt told me they were making a version to connect to mini skid-steers. I told him to sign me up! Having the 1/4-yd version allows me to get around very tight spots on pipeline jobs where you can’t get a full-size skid steer. It keeps my weight down for transporting my machine and equipment under 26,000 lbs. My crew loves it, and we’re excited to have it for many years to come.”
