New Internet Business Tools for Contractors
Tech savvy construction company owners changing out the industry operates through use of all sorts of futuristic technologies – like GPS, telematic equipment tracking and live internet and email updates. Another small step for contractors, but large step for the industry, has been taken by the Associate Builders and Contractors (ABC), which partnered with jobsite123.com to expand FindContractors.com.
As ABC’s online membership directory, FindContractors.com provides construction users with member company listings including current and completed project portfolios, insurance coverage and bonding capacity, licenses and certifications and client portfolio ratings. This comprehensive directory is part of the much larger strategic partnership formed between ABC and jobsite123.com in March 2010 with the goal of expanding construction contractors’ visibility through showcasing their qualifications and industry relationships directly to industry buyers via the Internet.
“This new partnership doubles the exposure of ABC member firms through jobsite123.com’s technology, expanding member firms’ exposure to a wider variety of prospective customers on both sites,” said Todd Mann, ABC’s chief operating officer. “These online resource directories are great business development tools for companies seeking contacts and business partners, particularly in this challenging economic environment.”
Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) is a national association with 77 chapters representing 25,000 merit shop construction and construction-related firms with two million employees.
