Massey Ferguson Introduces MF2635 Utility Tractor

The new Massey Ferguson 2635 utility tractor features a turbocharged engine for increased pulling power and greater reliability.Lending some muscle to landscapers and small farm owners, Massey Ferguson has introduced a new addition to its 2600 Series utility tractor lineup. With a 74-hp engine, the MF2635 is ready to work — bringing added power to the company’s easy-to-operate family of utility tractors.

“Massey Ferguson is pleased to announce the addition of the MF2635 model to its 2600 Series line of tractors,” said Neal Generose, product marketing manager, compact and utility tractors. “The MF2635 utility tractor combines the latest technology and design for better performance, reliability, convenience and comfort. This tractor is designed to meet customer expectations whether they’re clearing a pasture, baling hay, feeding livestock or landscaping a site.”

The Massey Ferguson 2635 is powered by a Tier III emissions-compliant direct-injection SIMPSON four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine, which delivers increased pulling power, greater reliability and superior fuel efficiency. With the MF2635, customers have two transmission choices. The new tractor comes standard with an economical 8×2 constant mesh transmission and live PTO, which provides a simple and reliable power train that makes completing daily chores easy. The optional 8×8 SynchroShuttle transmission with independent PTO gives operators added convenience by allowing the tractor to shift gears on the roll and change direction without having to come to a complete stop to shift.

“We’re dedicated to providing customers with what they want,” said Generose. “By understanding the varied needs of our customers and the diverse environments they encounter with their equipment, we engineered a tractor to help them get more accomplished in less time.”

The Massey Ferguson 2635 also was designed to make routine daily maintenance simple. Most daily service items, such as checking the engine oil level, can be completed without lifting the hood — allowing operators more time for work. For other maintenance requirements, a single-piece steel hood can be opened widely for easy access.

Other new features include an elevated semi-flat platform with a large plastic fuel tank underneath that can be easily filled from ground level. The adjustable suspended seat and easy-to-reach controls offer a softer ride and convenient tractor operation.
