Loading Up on the Web: 4/19 – 4/23 — The Bauma Chronicles

Another exciting week on the CE blog. In case you’ve been away from the computer (hopefully busy with your own construction jobs), Bauma — the largest construction indstury trade show in the world — was held this week in Munich, Germany. Clouds of volcanic ash kept many American journalists from travelling to Munich, but it didn’t stop the CE Media Crew. Managing editor Keith Gribbins and his merry band of journalistic tag-alongs covered the show all week, pumping back update after update, hour after hour. In case you missed any headline, here’s a run down of what went down at Bauma this week:

Caterpillar Next-Gen Fleet Management

Perkins Engines’ Tier 4 Readiness

Three New Hitachi Compact Wheel Loaders

Whew, the blog was busy this week. But not as busy as Keith and his crew trying to get back from the show. Click Here to read the final chapter of in the adventure of Keith, Stavros and Janeen as they narrowly escape the volcanic ash cloud.

We’re back to posting as usual with Gribbins back in the office next week — but that doesn’t mean the excitement stops. Tune in next week — same CE time, same CE site.
