Latux Introduces New Category 5 Blade

Latux, a manufacturer and distributor of diamondblades and bit products, has announced the introduction of its new website (www.latuxdbd.com) and its newest blade in thebest-selling Hurricane Series — the Category 5.  

The company took the winning bond of the original Hurricane —designed to cut brick, block, concrete, pavers, bluestone, flagstone andgranite — and improved it by adding Turbo Grooves in the segments andraising them to a full 15 millimeters instead of the original 10 millimeters.The core still has the patented 84 cooling holes and .125-in. thickness, but isnow painted red and black to set it apart. 

In field testing, contractors are reporting twice the speed and 50percent more life over the original Hurricane. Currently, the company has alimited amount of the new Category 5 blades available for each state until spring2014.
