John Deere Launches Green Fever Sales Event and Sweepstakes
John Deere has taken its annual preseason equipment sales promotion to new heights with the creation and launch of the Green Fever Sales Event and Sweepstakes. The program is available through participating John Deere dealers in the United States and Canada.
The purchase incentives portion of the Green Fever program includes zero-percent-APR financing offers, as well as discounts from $500 to $3,700 (USD) on select equipment from new lawn tractors to John Deere utility tractors and hay tools through Jan. 31, 2011. The Green Fever Sweepstakes, which runs from Nov. 15, 2010, to Feb. 28, 2011, gives customers and prospects a chance to win a grand prize of either a new Ford F-250 Lariat 4×4 pickup and a new John Deere 1026R sub-compact utility tractor with loader, or $50,000 (USD) cash. In addition, there are monthly prizes of either a John Deere Gator XUV, a ZTrak mower or X729 ultimate tractor.
According to Steve Geick, tactical marketing manager at John Deere, the equipment discounts, incentives and prizes of the Green Fever promotion are designed to be attractive to a wide range of current and prospective customers who are interested in purchasing equipment for their farm, ranch or property before the end of the year or next season.
“This is the biggest new-sales-year kickoff promotion we’ve ever conducted at John Deere to support our dealers’ efforts and to get the attention of a wide variety of equipment customers in the United States and Canada,” Geick says. “We designed the promotion around highly attractive grand and monthly prizes that would be of interest to most people and is convenient to enter using an easy online registration process.”
