Cool Tool of the Day: Doosan Control System Incorporates Industry-Leading Interface (Video)
The Machine Works blog reported on this awesome interface at CONEXPO-CON/AGG back in March, but this press release came over the wire today, announcing the official launch of the new Doosan Control System (DCS). The DCS is a state-of-the-art intuitive and innovative full-color digital display panel that puts the operator in complete control of Doosan Portable Power air compressors. The control system is currently available on the new XP825 and HP750e air compressors.
DCS utilizes an intuitive joystick control along with a full-color digital display. Settings can be customized to view only important information related to the application at hand, such as air pressure, compressor speed, pressure regulations, airend temperature and separator tank temperature. The easy-to-read display allows the operator immediate access to preloaded PDF files of the operators manual, service manual and parts manual, through an integrated e-reader library.
Full machine status and fault code history are also readily available. All of this information can be remotely monitored via a secure wireless Internet connection through DCS that sends a live stream to the operator’s laptop, tablet computer or smart phone. With this new technology, DCS provides the operator with the ability to streamline fleet management operations by viewing the status of multiple machines within 100 ft of the air compressors.
An optional full gauge package features a dual-colored, LED backlighting system that provides unparalleled operator visibility under any conditions.
