American Shotcrete Association Announces Expanded Online Buyers Guide

ASA Buyers Guide -- get your search on now. The American Shotcrete Association, headquartered in Farmington Hills, Mich., is a non-profit organization for contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, designers and engineers with common interest in promoting the use of shotcrete — concrete (or sometimes mortar) conveyed through a hose and pneumatically projected at high velocity onto a surface.

The American Shotcrete Association (ASA) just announced the increased functionality of its online Buyers Guide to allow for more advanced searches and ease of use. Previously, users of ASA’s online Buyers Guide have been limited to searching for specific types of shotcrete products and/or services offered. However, the Buyers Guide has now been expanded to allow users to narrow their search results down to geographic region.

“The ASA online Buyers Guide continues to serve the construction industry as an important tool to locate those companies that continually prove their commitment to the shotcrete process and its quality by supporting ASA through corporate membership,” said Joe Hutter, ASA vice president and chair of the Marketing/Membership Committee. “This online guide gives the entire concrete industry free and immediate access to the companies that are committed to ASA’s efforts to educate the concrete industry on the versatility, quality, and economic advantages of the shotcrete process.”

Currently, ASA’s Buyers Guide receives approximately 1,000 visits per month. The Buyers Guide also includes listings of shotcrete providers/services for hundreds different companies spanning across all US states and Canadian provinces. In addition to the ability of users to search for companies based on geographic locations served, users are also able to search for companies based on products and/or services related to shotcrete across seven main categories:

1. Admixtures
2. Cement & Pozzolanic Materials
3. Shotcrete Materials/Mixes
4. Consulting
5. Contractors
6. Equipment
7. Fibers

Searches can be further refined using over 100 sub-categories and geographic criteria. To access the ASA Buyers Guide, visit www.shotcrete.org/BuyersGuide.
