Skyjack Highlights New Models and Updates at bauma 2025

If you’re at bauma this week, add visiting Skyjack to your schedule. The company is celebrating its 40th anniversary at the show with an exciting lineup of new and updated models and features. For example, Skyjack’s E-Drive line is making its European show debut at bauma in booth FS.1102/2. According to the company, the simply electric range is designed to give users more, with improved efficiency, controllability and torque. Skyjack touted that the line’s innovative drive system provides exceptional duty cycles and fully proportional controls.
“We’re thrilled to showcase our expanded E-Drive line in their European show debut,” explained Charlie Patterson, president, Skyjack. “These scissors boost productivity with an improvement of up to 20 percent in runtime per charge, while consistent power, traction, torque make these scissor lifts an ideal choice for a wide range of indoor and outdoor applications. We’re happy to have our SJ3219 E, SJ3226 E and SJ4740 E on hand to represent the range.”
Skyjack’s upcoming hybrid rough terrain boom range — which includes the SJ45 AJHE + and SJ60 AJHE + — is also making its debut at bauma. These new machines offer three modes of operation (electric, automatic and manual) and are available with 51- and 66-ft working heights. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, Skyjack said these models include many design features that users come to expect from the company. bauma attendees can get a glimpse of the SJ45 AJHE + at Skyjack’s booth.
“Our new range of hybrid rough terrain booms is another machine that we’re looking forward to showcasing on stand at bauma,” explained Patterson. “This new boom line provides a clean, quiet and sustainable rental solution while meeting true jobsite performance expectations.”
According to Skyjack’s press release, here are some other machines to check out at the company’s booth:
- The SJ20 E: This vertical mast lift offers a quiet and versatile package with zero emissions. Skyjack said the machine’s exceptional maneuverability and unique traversing platform make the SJ20 E an ideal choice for a wide range of indoor and outdoor applications.
- The SJ45 AJE + and the SJ60 AJE +: These battery-powered electric rough terrain articulated booms feature exceptional duty cycle performance — capable of supporting more than a typical full day’s use of machine operation. Skyjack said the units’ all-electric axle-based drive offers excellent traction, while high-performance AC electric traction and pump motors deliver high torque power and consistent multi-function capability. Attendees can check out the SJ60 AJE + at the show.
- The SJ6832 RT and the SJ9253 RT: Skyjack’s rough terrain scissors boast a large working area, impressive platform capacities and optional self-leveling outriggers. The company said these scissors are a great choice for a wide range of construction, maintenance and industrial applications.
In addition to all this cool equipment, Skyjack is hosting a contest for a trip to visit its headquarters in Canada.
